This policy explains what we collect through estimate requests, why we collect it, and when it may be shared with a potential independent roofing provider.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to submit, including contact details, property ZIP code, selected project type, project description, and your confirmation that you own the property or are authorized to request work for it. For aggregate measurement, we store the page, action, automation flag, time, and a coarse acquisition category such as direct, search, internal navigation, a known local publisher, an owned project, social, or other referral. We do not store the raw referring URL, campaign string, cookie, visitor ID, or user agent in the measurement record. Basic security logs may record IP address, timestamp, and request metadata.
How we use information
We use submissions to review project fit, respond, prevent abuse, improve the service, and measure broad acquisition sources. When appropriate, we may introduce the request to an independent roofing provider.
When information is shared
We may share submitted project and contact information with one potential provider at a time so that provider can evaluate and respond. We check the current MHIC record before an introduction, but homeowners should verify the exact contracting party independently before hiring. We do not publish submissions or sell them as general-purpose marketing lists.
Retention and security
Submissions are stored on controlled infrastructure with access limited to site operations. We retain them only as long as reasonably needed for matching, records, security, or legal obligations.
Your choices
You may ask for another provider option or decline an introduction. To request access, correction, or deletion, email the site operations team. We may need to verify the request.
